Frank Lloyd Wright's Organic Architecture

  1. The belief that a building should appear to grow easily from its site
  2. Choosing one dominant form for a building and integrating that form throughout
  3. Using natural colors: “Go into the woods and field for color schemes”
  4. Revealing the nature of materials
  5. Opening up spaces
  6. Providing a place for natural foliage.

We will analyze Fallingwater through the lens of these guidelines. Use the internet for images, both INTERIOR and EXTERIOR.

With your partner, compose an email to me with the subject line “Organic Arch – Name1 Name2” so I know who worked together.

In the email respond to all SIX points above in 2-3 sentences each as to why and how Fallingwater expresses these principles.
